Directions



Make sure you answer the "big question". Answer some, all, or none of the additional questions. Write 100 to 200 words.

Blog 7


Describe a picture you find on Flickr.

Big Question:


Describe everything you see in the picture you find on Flickr and add the picture to your blog.

Also think about:


  • Use your five senses to describe (sight, sound, taste, touch, smell)
  • Does this remind you of somewhere you know?
  • How does this picture make you feel?


Blog 8


Write a dialogue from a YouTube video, a time you talked to someone, or from a movie you like. (50 to 100 words)

Big Question:


Write a short conversation between two or more people using proper punctuation.

Also think about:


  • Write it like two people are talking to each other
  • Don't write sentences explaining what they say, just what they say
  • Review punctuation rules here
  • Don't use the same verb (e.g. "said") over and over. There are other words (yelled, whispered, cursed, etc.)

Make sure you answer the "big question". Answer some, all, or none of the additional questions.

Big Question:


What did Scrooge learn from the Ghost of Things Yet to Come?

Also think about:


  • Why was it important for Scrooge to see his future?
  • How did he feel about his future?
  • How will this change him?
  • What can you learn from thinking about your future?

Remember...


Make sure you write around 100 to 200 words.
Make sure you are writing at least 5 comments a week.
